1.0 Release Notes


There's only a few changes in the 1.0 release from RC3.  

One was a simple fix for edge case when both players tried to occupy the same space at the same time, and could cross paths.  Usually this happened in single player mode when Sark tried to cut off the player.  

The other change is support for 80-column PET models.  I'll probably tweak this in a future release, as the wider screen changes game dynamics quite a bit.  I increased game speed in this mode, because there's double the number of columns available.  The problem, however, is the number of rows is the same.  So moving up & down happens very fast relative to moving left & right.  One solution might be to implement "half-step" logic when moving up & down.  However this may be a lower priority for me than porting the game to other platforms (C64/VIC/Plus 4 versions are planned).
